The ICBND Emerging Leaders Development Group met in Devils Lake for its annual Summer Summit and members left their mark on the community by purchasing backpacks in the school colors and filling each backpack with supplies for the students. They assembled 50 backpacks themselves and delivered them to the Minnie H Kindergarten Center for distribution.
First Western Bank & Trust was one of the North Dakota independent community banks that participated with Lindsay Kinnischtzke, Loan Assistant, from the Bismarck Bank was in attendance.
Barry Haugen, President of ICBND, and Wendy Ruud, Vice President of ICBND, were also present during the session that included keynote speakers addressing leadership and communication skills, hiring, managing and marketing to the next generation, and finding your own “It” factor.
