    Important Details

    ACCOUNT HISTORY: 120 days of account history will transfer with enrollment, and your transaction history will build with continued activity.

    MOBILE CHECK DEPOSIT: Cutoff time for mobile check deposits is
    3:00 PM CST. Funds are available after 4:00 pm on the day of deposit (business days only).     

    TRANSACTIONS: On the home screen, the transaction list includes transactions from all of your accounts. You may view transactions from specific accounts by clicking on the account name.

    SUPPRESSED ACCOUNTS: You may have accounts connected to your profile that were suppressed from your view in the previous system. These accounts will be viewable at the time of the upgrade. To suppress any of your accounts, click on the account you wish to suppress, select Settings, and turn off the button next to “Show in App.”

    1. How do I enroll in online and mobile banking?

    You can enroll in First Western online and mobile banking by downloading the myFirstWestern app or signing up through our website. You’ll need your account number, SSN, email address and phone number. Once enrolled, you can immediately access your dashboard, set up alerts, and link external accounts.

    2. How do I reset my online banking password?

    If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” link on the myFirstWestern login screen to reset it through email or text verification. If you’re locked out or need additional help, contact our Online Banking Team or call 800-688-2584.

    3. What is mobile check deposit and how does it work?

    Mobile check deposit (also called Mobile Remote Deposit) lets you deposit checks from anywhere using the myFirstWestern app. Just endorse the check, write “For Mobile Deposit Only” or check the box if applicable on the back of the check that state “Check Here for Mobile or Remote Deposit”, snap a photo of the front and back, and submit. The cutoff times for mobile check deposits are 11 AM CST, for fund availability around 12:30 PM CST on the day of deposit and 3:00 PM CST, for fund availability around 3:30 PM CST on the day of deposit (business days only).

    4. Why is my mobile or online transaction pending?

    Transactions may appear as pending while they’re being processed by the merchant or while funds are being verified. Pending transactions typically clear within one to two business days. Deposits and transfers made outside of business hours or after cutoff times may also show as pending until the next business day.

    5. What security features protect my online banking account?

    myFirstWestern includes multiple layers of protection: two-factor authentication, Touch ID and Face ID on enabled devices, real-time transaction alerts, and enhanced card controls that let you temporarily disable your debit card if it’s misplaced.     6. Can I temporarily disable my debit card if I misplace it?

    Yes. Through myFirstWestern’s enhanced card controls, you can temporarily disable your debit card while you search for it and turn it back on once it’s found. If you can’t locate the card, you can also report it lost or stolen directly from the app.

    7. How much transaction history will I see after enrolling?

    At enrollment, 120 days of account history will transfer to your myFirstWestern profile. From there, your transaction history continues to build as you use your accounts. You can view transactions across all accounts from the home dashboard or filter to a single account by selecting it.

    8. Can I view e-statements and check images through myFirstWestern?

    Yes. You can view check images and electronic statements from any device through the myFirstWestern app or online dashboard. To enroll in paperless statements or learn more, visit our eStatements page.

    9. Can I pay bills and connect outside accounts in myFirstWestern?

    Yes. You can add payees and pay bills through iPay, our integrated bill pay service, and you can connect accounts held at other financial institutions to see your full financial picture in one place (not all institutions are supported). You can also use MyMoneyManager for budgeting and spending insights.
